So Saudi Arabia, a land dominated by followers of the strict Wahhabi ideology of Islam are giving modernization a crack by reforming their law system.
It is the kings wish to modernize the law system to allow for equality and fairness in rulings.
Up until now Saudi courts have been presided over by clerics, well versed in Islamic Jurisprudence... using centuries old interpretations of Islamic Sharia law...but at the end of the day ruling according to their interpretation of a law and a crime...well in an age of globalization and economics and business at the heart of many legal issues it becomes difficult to use Islamic Jurisprudence...that a boy Saudi...
